SPRING NEWS – Beth Heyboer, Director

Thank you to all of our volunteers who so faithfully give of their time and talents. God continues to bless our establishment and its supporters. To every volunteer that works hard to perfect their department “We Applaud Your Efforts.”

Weekly we speak with first time shoppers that make comments on the cleanliness of our store, the variety of products and friendliness of our volunteers. To each of you that are a volunteer here, you are one of the reasons for our success. Remember our mission verse – Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed. First and foremost it is God’s hand guiding and leading us.

Please stop and shop before you visit the larger stores. Many families can testify to the savings they have received by purchasing items here. On the day you volunteer you receive 25% off your purchases. (Furniture excluded) It is the thrill of the hunt. It is also a hit or miss…but the more you stop in and shop the more likely you will find that deal. More importantly remember the proceeds benefit your child or grandchild’s Christian education.

Our “School Donation Pick-up” program has resumed. Watch your home news for the dates scheduled for your school. The new program was a huge success in the fall and we look forward receiving your donations again. We hope it helps some of our families that find it a challenge getting their donations to our store.

In closing…each of us has been blessed with a variety of gifts that should be used to praise Him. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. I Peter 4:11.
